(Lake Buena Vista) The San Jose Earthquakes scored four goals in the second half, including two by Magnus Eriksson on penalty shots, and they defeated Real Salt Lake 5-2 in the round of 16 of the relaunch tournament. MLS Monday night.

The California team opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a goal from Cristian Espinoza, assisted by Qazaishvili and Eriksson.
However, within a minute, Real Salt Lake tied the game with a goal from Douglas Martinez.
After the first half, the Earthquakes already had 10 shots towards the opponent's net, but only three on target, and had retained the ball more than 65% of the time.
Real Salt Lake were limited to three shots in the first half, but two of them hit the target.
Two Real players received red cards in the second half, Marcela Silva, in the 84th minute, and Kyle Beckerman, in the last moments of stoppage time.
In the quarter-finals on Saturday night, the Earthquakes will face the winner of Tuesday's game between the Columbus Crew and United of Minnesota.
The Crew were the best team in the preliminary round with a 3-0 record, seven goals scored and none allowed and placed first in Group E. United won one game and called the other two and s' is ranked second in group D.
Another game was scheduled for Monday night between the Seattle Sounders and Los Angeles FC. The winner will cross swords with Orlando City SC on Friday night.
