(Lake Buena Vista) The Larry O'Brien Trophy was ready to be presented. Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have delayed his appearance.

The NBA Finals are not yet over after a courageous performance by Butler and the Heat in Game 5 on Friday night.

Butler had 35 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists and the Heat beat the Los Angeles Lakers 111-108 after watching Danny Green miss a three-point shot without a challenge in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter. The Lakers are now leading 3-2 and the sixth game of the final is Sunday night.

Duncan Robinson had 26 points for the Heat, who used just seven players during the game. Kendrick Nunn had 14 points, Bam Adebayo scored 13 while Tyler Herro and Jae Crowder concluded the game with 12 and 11 points respectively. The seventh player, Andre Iguodala, did not score.

The Florida team had enough to win, however.

LeBron James contributed offensively with 40 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers. Anthony Davis scored 28 points while Kentavious Caldwell had 16.

The Lakers were only a few seconds to win the 17 th title in their history, but the Heat came from behind to save his season. The Los Angeles squad decided to sport their black uniforms, created and inspired by Kobe Bryant, and they were showing a 4-0 record in those uniforms. The record has now changed to 4-1.
